Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. The actress also worked for the SSC as a producer and composer of costumes/set designs, music director and coach for text in addition to serving as Artistic Director. Although she was usually the head of her group the first time she was directing was in SSC King Lear.
